THE FAMILY HISTORY SOCIETY OF CHESHIRE

The Cheshire Surnames Directory is a list of Cheshire families being researched by family historians and is open to both members and non-members of the Society.

The directory is completely separate from the society's Members' Interests list. It does not share user ids or password with the FHSC site.

To enquire further, or provide information, about any of the surnames listed here, simply click on the submitter's name to send e-mail.

Please note that this is not a research service, and only the contributors listed can supply information about individual names.

REGISTRATION - Anyone with an e-mail address may submit details of their Cheshire families once they have registered with me. Send an email to the above email address stating your name, the email address you wish to use on the site and a second method of contacting you in case your site email becomes blocked. You will be sent a unique password to use - don't lose it. If you do then email me again. This is a free service, and contributors do not have to belong to a family history society.

Any entries that are believed to be a misuse of the facility will be deleted by the administrator and the posters email address barred from further updates to the site.
